A new, wider width size in our Golden Glow ear cuffs! So very pretty and rich looking, this Golden Glow hammered ear cuff. Created from an alloy called NuGold or Merlin's Gold, this ear cuff has the look of a 14 karat piece at a fraction of the cost! This brass -- also called Merlin's Gold or jeweler's bronze -- is an alloy of 85% copper and 15% zinc, which polishes to a jazzy yellow sheen which is hard to discern from the real stuff, which is currently selling in the $1650/oz range. And this alloy is nickel-free, so it will not bother those with nickel allergies. This "very wide" width ear cuff is about 1/2 inch wide (about 13mm). Hammered for an interesting, light-catching finish. Carefully polished to a nice sheen. Easily polished with a jeweler's polishing cloth to maintain its bright finish. Or you can allow it to get a natural, aged patina if you prefer. Lightweight and comfortable. Comes with instructions for wearing/adjusting an ear cuff for those new to ear cuffs. Needs no piercings to be worn. Handcrafted, one at a time, by us in our studio in northern California.
